Our Story

Dr. Nicole Kassissieh, PsyD

Thank you for visiting our page! I graduated from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, now William James College. I completed my postdoctoral training at the Neurodevelopmental Center at The Mass General Hospital for Children at North Shore Medical Center. I worked as a staff member and supervisor at The Mass General Hospital for Children at North Shore Medical Center (and worked in Private Practice on the North Shore) for 7 years before focusing solely on my Private Practice in Winchester (in 2012).

Clinical training during my graduate studies included: The Adolescent Assessment Unit at Cambridge Hospital; The Cambridge Youth Guidance Center; Tufts University Counseling Center and The Gifford School.

Prior to attending graduate school, I spent 5 years teaching 7th Grade and coaching High School Lacrosse at a Private School in Virginia. My experiences teaching at a school geared toward varied learning styles and working with children through various roles inform my current approach. My own educational experiences at Middlebury College and The Winsor School have prepared me to understand the range of issues facing Boston-area students today.

Dr. Kassissieh is a  member of the Massachusetts Neuropsychological Society, International Dyslexia Association, AANE (Asperger/Autism Network), and MAGE (Massachusetts Association for Gifted Education)

Wendy Joles

My name is Wendy Joles, and I am Northern Psychology’s Administrative Assistant.  A longtime resident of North Carolina, I attended the University of North Carolina At Charlotte. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with Kindergarten through 6th-grade certification. I have attended continuing education in the areas of play therapy, ADHD, multiple intelligences, exceptional children, and learning disabilities.

For 22 years, I have worked with students and families at the PreK and Elementary level within the public and private school systems. I have taught 4th grade as well as Transitional Kindergarten and now currently 4-year-olds at a private preschool.  Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of children with different learning styles as well as diverse behavioral and academic challenges. These experiences have led me to be passionate about helping families better assess and understand their child’s social/emotional well-being and academic growth. I am excited to be a part of the team at Northern Neuropsychology and look forward to helping you throughout the process.

G. Gracya Rudiman

Hello, my name is Gracya; I am a graduate student at Georgetown University to obtain a Master of Science in Global Health. I am a first-generation college graduate international student originally from Tangerang, Indonesia. I was formerly the private practice assistant for Northern Neuropsychology. I was fortunate enough to gain a tremendous amount of experience and gained hands-on experience with clinical work. Sadly, due to graduate school, I am temporarily taking a leave from Northern Neuropsychology. Please direct any questions to Wendy, our new admin, and I will see you in the future!

Layla The Dog

Layla has been with Northern Neuropsychology, LLC since March, 2023 when she was adopted at the age of two-years. She may be present during testing with Dr. Kassissieh. She is friendly, very quiet and a little anxious- and we allow her space for her feelings. She enjoys napping, a few treats and being a calming/welcoming presence for children who want to interact with her. She can absolutely stay home if she is a distraction, so please let us know (we try to remember to ask)!
