Executive Functioning Coaching
What is Executive Functioning Coaching?
Executive function skills are the brain-based abilities that allow us to plan, prioritize, stay organized, manage time, regulate emotions, and follow through on tasks.
Executive function coaching focuses on strengthening these skills through:
Personalized assessment of strengths and challenges
Development of practical, real-life strategies
Goal setting and progress monitoring
Accountability and ongoing support
Building self-awareness and independent habits
My approach goes beyond quick fixes—I help students understand how they learn and develop systems that truly work for them. As an EF coach, I focus on helping individuals implement strategies to increase incremental goals that allow them to function more productively and independently. By using targeted strategies, I help individuals identify the areas within executive functioning that are most challenging for them, and work collaboratively with them, and caregivers, to create action steps to meet goals within their target area.
I specialize in supporting bright, capable students who are struggling to manage the demands of school and daily life—not because they lack ability, but because they need the right systems and support.
My coaching is designed for:
Parents with elementary age students who need support with executive functioning but aren’t ready for 1:1 coaching with a focus on:
Building foundational habits within the home to strengthen communication
Build sustainable routines that empower kids to start tasks more independently, stay focused and complete work, manage frustration and build confidence, create simple routines for daily tasks
Middle and high school students who miss deadlines, procrastinate, or feel constantly overwhelmed. Coaching will focus on supporting habits to:
Plan and manage long-term assignments
Reduce procrastination with effective homework systems
Organize materials and track responsibilities
Manage stress and school-related anxiety
My goal is to help students take ownership of their learning so school and everyday tasks feel manageable and achievable.
With consistent coaching, students often see:
Fewer missing or late assignments
Increased independence and follow-through
Reduced stress at home
Stronger confidence and self-advocacy
